It’s been said, “Some are born with a natural talent to play a sport others have to work hard for it”. Michael J. Haury, for whom the current weight room is named, was one who worked hard for it. Mike was a fixture in the weight room which was located in a boiler room in the field house during his high school career, always working to improve himself.  When a rare blood disease took him from us his senior year, his friends wanted to honor him and addressing the weight room situation was perfect.  By January 1991, with community donations, the Michael J. Haury Memorial Weight Room was presented to GHS.  This weight room has been used by students and student athletes at GHS for almost 30 years and is in need of funds to update it.

Gloucester High School is about to celebrate our students and supporters in a big way!!

The GHS Dukes Touchdown Club is excited to offer you the opportunity to support the young people of Gloucester County by adding an inaugural personalized brick to the new patio that will be created at the entrance to the GHS Stadium. The bricks will spell out G H S in a contrasting colored brick and have a creative border around it.

Preserve your GHS memories for future Dukes to enjoy and that will forever be a part of the patio.  Personalize your brick(s) with your name, your children’s name, to honor a fallen classmate, to celebrate a team accomplishment, a favorite teacher, a coach or a loved one, the score from your favorite game, a new or personal record, etc. add the graduation date, a picture of their school involvement the possibilities are endless.

All monies earned through the project will be used to make improvements to the equipment and facilities in support of the athletic program at the school.

Bricks are limited; don’t miss out on being a part of the inaugural memorial built for you by you!!!
