Buffalo Park Community Garden at Wilmot Elementary Buy A Brick Campaign
Hosted by Fundraising Brick
The Buffalo Park Community Garden at Wilmot Elementary is a great example of what can be accomplished when a whole bunch of folks come together to make something happen in their community. Together, we’ve built a space destined to be a learning and growing environment for decades to come.
By purchasing a brick, you can have your child, children’s or family’s name permanently displayed as part of a hexagonal shape in the heart of the garden. Here we see celebrations, classes and myriad of “formal” and informal gatherings of residents, students and teachers.
Each brick will become a permanent part of the Buffalo Park Community Garden. Buy a brick with the year you graduated, when your children graduated (or will graduate), in honor of your favorite teacher, in memory of a loved one or friend, a favorite quote or verse, a score from a memorable game you played in; the possibilities are endless.
We thank the families who have purchased bricks so far, and welcome those who haven’t yet to join us in ordering a brick that will be a permanent trace of your child(ren)’s elementary school years at Wilmot. Preserve your Wilmot memories for future Wildcats to enjoy.
Feel free to stop by the garden and check it out! It’s open to visit anytime. Funding will help support the garden (signage, enhancements, etc.) as well as increased educational opportunities for next school year.
