My name is Matthew Sinofsky, I am a Life Scout and aspiring Eagle Scout from Troop 66 in West Suffield, CT. My Eagle Project is building a firepit at Sunrise Park for the specific use of Flag Retirement ceremonies. This project is meant to allow the public more connection to their Veterans, as well as an opportunity to experience these ceremonies that Troop 66 performs. Providing memorial engraved bricks to Veterans is an important aspect of this endeavor as it allows me to fundraise in order to complete the project thoroughly, as well as provide the patio area surrounding the firepit with a ceremonial aspect.
