Golden Retriever Rescue and Adoption of Needy Dogs (GRRAND) is a non-profit organization that began in Louisville in 1996 and has since expanded to Southern Indiana, Lexington, Cincinnati and Dayton. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected along with those who are the victims of changed life circumstances. In 2016, Ellen Leslie graciously donated the former Vine Crest Kennels to GRRAND. In 2017, GRRAND embarked on a plan to build a comfortable and safe space for GRRAND to house its dogs while they await their new forever homes. GRRAND Central Station will be GRRAND’s new home. To help offset costs for this project and to fundraise for GRRAND’s overall mission, GRRAND is commissioning a walking trail at GRRAND Central Station for our dogs and their walkers to enjoy while exercising. Your brick will be featured along the trail and welcome all who venture down its path.
