Purchasers of memorial bricks will be entitled to custom-design and annotate individual bricks to honor family members or other special people who have played significant roles in the Couillardville community over the years. These commemorative displays will keep stories and memories alive for future generations. By purchasing and designing memorial bricks, individuals and families can honor and memorialize forebears in a permanent, public exhibit that will be seen by all park visitors for years to come.
Funds from the sale of memorial bricks will pay for the design and construction of the memorial brick display itself, as well as the new historical marker being developed by the “Families of Couillardville” in cooperation with the Oconto County Office of Forestry and Parks and the Wisconsin Historical Society. Any funds received beyond those needed for the memorial and the historical marker will be applied to various other park enhancements.
