Memorial Bricks Commemorate Ancestors, Sustain Couillardville Park in Future

The Couillardville Memorial Park Memorial Brick Purchase Program offers a meaningful and lasting way to honor the individuals who shaped this remarkable community — neighbors, families, and pioneers whose lives helped build the warm, close-knit character that defines Couillardville.

Custom-engraved paver bricks are installed in an elegant patio display adjacent to the newly dedicated Wisconsin State Historical Marker, which recognizes the prehistoric and historic inhabitations of the Couillardville area. Together, the marker and the memorial brick display form a gathering place where history is not simply recorded but celebrated.

Purchasers may personalize their brick to honor a family member, a cherished neighbor, or any individual whose contributions to this community deserve to be remembered. These inscriptions become part of a permanent, public exhibit — visible to every park visitor for generations to come — ensuring that the stories and legacies of Couillardville’s people are never forgotten.

Revenue from brick sales has funded both the construction of the memorial display and the development of the historical marker, created by the Families of Couillardville in partnership with the Oconto County Office of Forestry and Parks and the Wisconsin Historical Society. Proceeds from future sales will continue to support the preservation and enhancement of the park.
