The Nest Afterschool is a nonprofit afterschool program in Sheridan, Arkansas, which seeks to “Nurture Each Student’s Talents” through community based programming featuring academic assistance with homework, arts, STEM, and music activities as well as other recreational skill building activities. The Nest Afterschool is currently in the development phase. We are exploring options for locations in the community at this time and have launched a capital campaign towards funding this goal. Our hope is to provide afterschool services at little to no cost to families through grants and fundraising. Bricks purchased will be used for an inspirational walkway at our location once built for our youth. This walkway will be a true testament to our students of the community that helped build their future one brick at a time!
