In the past year, as we have watched tragedy unfolding in the world, you may have felt helpless to make a difference. Today we have an opportunity to do something right here in our community. St. John’s Episcopal Church, in partnership with Samaritas (the government-appointed agency for refugee resettlement in SE Michigan) is renovating their former Youth House as a temporary residence for newly arrived refugees. We are blessed to have this house available at a time when it is so desperately needed.  However, this home needs extensive renovations to make it livable for a family; walls need to be removed/added, water damage repaired, windows replaced, electrical fixes and upgrades, plumbing installations, HVAC venting, drywall installation, and numerous additional repairs. You can help support the construction progress and upkeep of the house by purchasing a brick that, once the construction is complete, will be a part of a beautiful brick patio/walkway near the home that will display your legacy for all to see for years to come. You and others will know that you made a positive difference and cared enough to help those in need rebuild their lives.

If you would like to order more than one brick you will need to fill out a new order form for each brick that you would like to order.
