Pulaski Park was dedicated in October, 1938, in honor of General Casimir Pulaski who led troops in the Revolutionary War.  The park was cared for by the Lorain City Park Department for several years, but when they cut back on employees, the park was pretty much left unattended.  In recent years it has become very unkept.  The park sits across the street from the Polish neighborhood church, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic, and has been a real eye sore.  The Eagle Scouts have begun work on the park and the city has removed the old and worn out flag poles, etc.  A fundraising event has been ongoing to pay for the renovation of the park and the $110,000 raised so far might cover the costs of update.  The center of the park will become a plaza with bricks, engraved as you wish, with benches as anchors.  Your participation in purchasing a brick for a loved one, a veteran, your family, etc. would be very much appreciated.  Please help us bring back the original beauty of the park.  Rededication will take place October 13, 2024.
