Building a Legacy Brick by Brick

Back about forty some years ago the Livermore Community Hall needed a new roof. Two ole cowpokes installed the metal roof with considerable pride.  In all these years very little repair was needed but the metal roof was flapping like a sheet in a hurricane, eighty mile an hour winds will do that.  A temporary repair will keep the rain off our heads, but the hall is in dire need of a new roof. We are forced to ask for help to meet the needs of this wonderful historic building.  The hall is a 501c3, so your donations are tax deductible, please help us save this wonderful building.

Larimer County Commissioners have chosen the Livermore Community Hall to receive an Immediate Needs Grant to install handicap access and upgrade the restrooms so all our community can enjoy the hall and events that happen there.  This is great and we are so appreciative, but that grant cannot be used for the roof.  We are dependent on your help. The only money that comes to the hall is rental fees, events we create and your donations. The hall has also been a staging location for emergency events such as fires and search and rescue. No property tax dollars or county sales tax dollars come to the hall, so, we really need your help!

To make this more interesting we are planning an engraved brick campaign.   You pick the size, the wording, clipart and we will install the bricks to make a walkway in front of our new handicap access lift. We suggest: Family Names, Tributes, Homestead Families, Marriages performed at the hall, Memorials, Veterans, 1st Responders, Sponsors, Pets, whatever comes from the heart.  It’s not about charity, it’s about memories.  Please order your brick or bricks today. If we cannot earn the money, we will truly have a “Leaky Roof.”
