The Albert M. Greenfield 8th Grade Legacy Brick Pathway

A new tradition is beginning with the class of ‘24! The 8th grade traditionally paves the way for future classes- from being role models for younger kids to leaving a gift to better the school community. In addition to that, as the family of an 8th grader, you now have the opportunity to take part in creating a new path by purchasing a Legacy Brick to honor your graduating student. Together, these bricks will form a walkway in The Secret Garden, getting longer every year and shared for generations to come.

The purchase of all Legacy Bricks will help to fund the current 8th grade activities for ALL students including the 8th grade dinner dance and the 8th grade trip to the Promotion (graduation) ceremony and all of the memory making in between. Through this fundraising, ALL 8th grade students will also receive a Memory Book filled with photos and messages from their time at Greenfield and the 8th Grade t-shirt to show their 8th Grade Greenfield pride.

In addition to the bricks, we’ll begin another new tradition of gifting a plaque to the school on which ALL of the students’ names will be listed, commemorating the Promoting class. This will hang in the school with a photo of the graduating class, in celebration of all of the students.

This spring we will host a ceremony to unveil the new Pathway and this year’s Legacy Bricks. At the 2024 Promotion, the Class of ‘24 plaque will be gifted to the school.

All Class of ‘24 Legacy Bricks must be purchased by January 31, 2024. Thank you for your continued support of the 8th grade and Albert M Greenfield Elementary School.

If you would like to order more than one brick you will need to fill out a new order form for each brick that you would like to order.
