For a long time I have felt that our island needed a large Flagpole identifying it as American soil. Being only a mile from the Canadian border and being privately owned I felt we needed to make a little more of a statement especially with the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence by the Second Continental Congress in 1776. We are selling personalized paving bricks in order to finance the Memorial. Every penny we collect from the sale of the bricks will be put toward the Flagpole and the surrounding Memorial to our members, past, present and future so that they will be remembered and that they were here and helped to make the island a little better. The size of the Memorial will depend on how brisk the brick sales are so lets make it a big success. For the first run of bricks, we have plenty of room to expand to accommodate everyone. We have decided to limit the first sale of the bricks to10 bricks per member but that number is subject to change. Any member that wishes to purchase a brick for a departed member, former club member, employee or someone special to the island, that brick will not count against their allotment. This is going to be an ongoing project and as future runs of bricks are planned they will probably be repeated every couple of years or so due to a minimum number being needed to be financially feasible. The price of the future orders of bricks will be announced at that time. All orders will be made through the website. No manual orders will be accepted through any island personnel, board members or myself. We want to make sure that the bricks are inscribed correctly and that your personal message comes from you.

To begin, complete the required fields indicated by the *, then enter your inscription and click on the next button at the bottom of the form. You will then be directed to the confirmation page to confirm your inscription. After you have confirmed your inscription, click the submit form button at the bottom right of the page. Please enter the text exactly as you want it to appear on the brick.  You do not need to center the text; the laser software will automatically center the inscription. If you would like to order more than one brick, you will need to fill out a new order form for each additional brick that you would like to order.
