HELP FINE LINEN THEATRE BUILD A PERMANENT HOME/REHEARSAL SPACE. Fine Linen Theatre is well known in the central Missouri area for engaging the community in high-quality theatre. We have matured over 20 years from a few families putting on plays (with Krispy Kreme donut fundraisers to rent the local stage) to a full-fledged non-profit all-volunteer community theatre producing excellent mainstage productions. We routinely audition over 100 community members of all ages for our mainstage productions, with over 7,000 audience members a season. We have become an integral part of the community, offering free educational workshops, creating programming for local schools, providing costumed characters at local libraries, and hosting our ever-popular fairy tale festival. 

With our growing number and types of activities, we are in need of our own facility to prepare for our activities and productions. Over the years, the community has graciously hosted Fine Linen with the use of warehouses, church gyms, and storage areas for rehearsal spaces, but the lack of a home base has now become our limiting factor.

We are currently engaging our community to join us in a capital campaign to build our home facility. In addition to rehearsal space, we will have space for the construction of sets, costuming, and storage of equipment, costumes, and props. We have already purchased property, conveniently next door to one of the two venues that we rent for performances. Please join us in building a home for Fine Linen Theatre where we can provide opportunities to build character, develop skills, expand relationships, and engage our community!
