It’s been decades in the making, but the long-term vision of the Friends of Copper Falls State Park (FOCFSP) and Copper Falls State Park to construct a multi-use pavilion facility in the park is now a reality! The FOCFSP and our dedicated members, along with generous donations, and grants, has made this multi-use facility a reality.
Nestled in the upper picnic area by the concession building, naturalist cabin, playground, and Doughboy Nature trail, this facility will provide programming space for naturalist programs and educational programs, space for the numerous special events held throughout the year, a place for families to celebrate birthdays, weddings, and reunions, and additional covered picnicking options for visitors to enjoy. This will all be while being central to all the amenities, hikes, and scenery that visitors come to enjoy.
Rich in history and craftsmanship, this new facility will be designed to match the intricate work by the Doughboys, CCC, and WPA workers that built Copper Falls State Park.
The FOCFSP invites you to join us on the last leg of our journey and to leave a lasting impact on Copper Falls State Park. Consider making a donation that will be memorialized in perpetuity.
