My project will be a first responder brick memorial walkway and flag pole surround at the Mason Dixon Fair grounds. The memorial will consist of a 7×7 square made up of memorial bricks and some blank place holder bricks to fill in any gaps. The main reason why I want to do this this project is because my late grandfather was a Baltimore County firefighter/paramedic for 22 years and why I hope to be a firefighter someday. I believe we should remember first responders both alive and deceased from all agencies, and remember them for the differences they made in they served and protected.
