We need your help to LIGHT THE TOWER. 

In 1949, this iconic CHRYSLER advertising sign was built on historic Route 66 in Bristow, Oklahoma. At over 100 feet tall, it was the tallest free-standing advertising sign in this part of the United States and its neon lights drew travelers to Beard Motor Company, which was open 24 hours a day. Sadly, the sign went dark after the toll road from Tulsa to Oklahoma City opened. Without immediate help, it will be lost to time and the elements.

The Bristow Historical Society, Incorporated is on a mission to restore and relight this tower. We are selling personalized bricks that will be placed at the base and walls of the display area surrounding the restored sign.

Bricks are priced at $100 for floor mounted bricks and $200 for wall mounted bricks. You can also purchase larger 8″ by 8″ bricks with your logo for $500. This permanent display is a great place to advertise your car club, your grandkids, your family name, or your business. 

Our goal is to raise $300,000 for this project and your brick will be part of this exhibit which will be seen by Route 66 visitors for years to come.  All proceeds raised above our goal will be used to preserve three other local historic sites.
