Avery, a former CPM student, fought brain cancer with bravery and strength for over two and a half years. Through this fight she never complained and continued to find ways to make those around her smile and participate in life. She taught teachers and students alike, how to be resilient and keep going no matter the challenge.
To continue to honor her legacy, Calf Pen Meadow School would like to build a memorial garden and outdoor classroom.
