Support the Arkansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial Sidewalk Project

The Arkansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial, located on the grounds of the State Capitol, stands as a lasting tribute to the firefighters who gave their lives in service to our communities. Since its dedication in 2014, the memorial has honored their courage through four symbolic statues— “Old Leather Lungs,” “The Angel of Mercy,” “On the Line,” and “Pushin’ In”—all centered around the Win Rockefeller Fountain of Faith.

As we enter the memorial’s 12th year, we are launching a special enhancement: a new front sidewalk that will offer visitors an improved view of the memorial framed by the Capitol, along with welcoming space to gather, reflect, and pay respects.

We invite you to partner with us in bringing this project to life.
The sidewalk will be funded through the purchase of engraved pavers, which may be dedicated in memory or in honor of loved ones, fire departments, or organizations. Each paver directly supports the preservation and continued development of this important memorial.

Your contribution not only advances this project toward its projected completion in Summer 2027, it ensures that the stories, sacrifice, and service of Arkansas firefighters will be remembered for generations to come.
