For over 40 years, DC Dragons Martial Arts Training Center & Dancarate’ Inc has been more than a karate and dance school, it’s been a staple in the community.” For many, it was a second home… Generations of students learned to kick, punch, spin, bounce, teach and choreograph within its four walls. Now, with its doors closed and its foundation leveled to make way for a new development, we invite you to help us honor its legacy before it becomes just another apartment complex. Join us in raising funds for a memorial tribute to the school that shaped so many lives. Whether you took your first and last belt test here, watched your child’s first recital, joined our weekly classes, or simply passed through its doors, your support will help us preserve its story through a commemorative landscaped paved memorial that will last for years to come.

Let’s celebrate what this space meant and ensure that it’s never forgotten.

Please NO Rest In Peace (R.I.P.) messages and NO “In Memory of”…messages. We can still honor those who have passed away by just adding their name to a quote or including their level in Martial Arts and/or Dance. Quote Examples:

Steps to Order your brick:

    1) Complete the required fields indicated by the *.
       2) Enter your inscription and click on the next button at the bottom of the form.
       3)You will then be directed to the confirmation page to confirm your inscription.
       4)After you have confirmed your inscription, click the submit form button at the bottom right of the page.
       5) Please enter the text exactly as you want it to appear on the brick. *Please check your spelling/wording. We will print inscription exactly the way you send it. You do not need to center the text; the laser software will automatically center the inscription.
       6) If you would like to order more than one brick, you will need to fill out a new order form for each additional brick that you would like to order.
