We have an exciting opportunity to do something wonderful for our students and school, and give our Parents, Families, and Community an opportunity to reconnect with our Lobo School and Team. Our current school track is compacted dirt, overgrown in some places by weeds and the dirt in the center of the track is uneven. All of our kids use that track! The athletes and PE classes run on it. And in past events, such as our Turkey Trot and Jog-a-thon, family members joined students to earn prizes for the miles they have walked together. Our students deserve better! Tracks with synthetic surfaces are easier on athlete bodies, decreasing the chance of injuries. Help us give our students the track they deserve. And this track will welcome our community families for the Lobo Strides Walking Club; to encourage family and school community building around the love for a shared physical activity. Our kids need it and we can make sure that they get it if we work together!
